‘He needs to be checked mentally’ — reactions as Kanye West goes all silver for ‘Mary’ concert

Reactions have continued to trail the appearance of Kanye West, an American rapper and record producer, for his ‘Mary’ concert on Sunday.
Kanye left many stunned with his all-silver appearance for the concert, which tells the biblical account of Mary, who got pregnant through the Holy Spirit and gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem.
The event, held at Miami Marine Stadium, was West’s second concert in less two months after ‘Nebuchadnezzar,’ his debut opera, in November.
The rapper alongside other performers, clad themselves in chrome-like garments and were seen reading gospel passages, akin to the scene from ‘Nebuchadnezzar’.
His costume has since generated a lot of conversation on social media, with many users wondering what has become of the 42-year-old since he announced his conversion to Christianity.
“I think Kanye’s mental health should be checked at this point,” a Twitter user wrote.
