Drama As Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okoya and Ned Nwoko Clash at the Airport.

It’s no longer news that Billionaire Politician, Ned Nwoko loves luxury and he’s bent on spending his last dime on any item he found worthy in addition to his overwhelming collections.

Few days back, Nwoko was in his hometown of Idumuje – Ugboko, Delta State away from his base in Abuja to spend some time with his people.

We learnt that Nwoko and his family flew into Delta State in one of his private jets and after spending quality time with his people, he headed straight to the airport to embark on his journey back to the federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Nwoko was apparently nervous when he arrived at the airport to found out that his newest and favorite private jet was nowhere to be found on the tarmac of the hangar.

He quickly called on the management of the hangar for explanation over the missing private jet.

To his utmost surprise, he was told that the Executive Governor of the State, Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has taken possession of the Private jet few minutes earlier before Nwoko arrived with his entourage.

Nwoko’s private jets, we gathered, was placed on chattered service whenever the former House of Reps member is not making use of them, hence, the decision for the Company to fly Governor Okowa to Abuja in the new jet.

We also learnt that Nwoko was asked to embark on his journey to Abuja in any of his other two private jet, but he insisted on waiting for the arrival of his multi-million-naira asset and his personal pilot back on the runway from Abuja.

While waiting at the VIP section of the airport, the Lawyer turned Politician – Nwoko was unperturbed and seen having a goodtime with his admirers at the Lounge of the VIP Section for several hours before Okowa arrive with his convoy.

Immediately Okowa landed, one of his aides rushed to him to tell him about what had earlier transpired before the governor’s arrival. 

Both politicians were later seen embracing each other and chatted away for several minutes before they both departed and proceed with their separate destinations.

However, the former lawmaker, Ned Nwoko who turned 59 last December was described by Okowa as a great politician and he commended the international lawyer and businessman and politician for his tremendous impact on the lives of people irrespective of tribe, religion, social status or political affiliation through his entrepreneurial drive and for his outstanding contributions to job creation through his many investments, including the Stars University, Idumuje-Ugboko.

The governor also lauded the former lawmaker for his dexterity, sagacity and courage in pursuing his dream of representing the people of Delta North Senatorial to support the development of the area.

“Prince Ned Nwoko has continued to blaze the trail by providing and offering leadership at various strata of the society and I urge you to continue to serve your people well without relenting.

“You have created several jobs and provided many opportunities for our people to utilize their potential and earn a decent means of livelihood through your investments and philanthropy.

“Over the years, you have maintained a large, devoted and loyal followership and bestrode Delta’s political scene like a colossus due to your famed generosity and large-heartedness,’’ he concluded.
