Bryant, 41, played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1996-2016 during which he won five NBA titles and was hailed as one of the greatest players ever to play in the NBA.
Reports are saying Bryant was among five people who were in the helicopter that crashed in foggy conditions in Los Angeles. There were no survivors.
He is survived by his wife Vanessa and four daughters.
